Given the recent high profile national and international coverage of swimming especially in the recent European Swimming Championships held in Berlin and the Commonwealth Games held in Manchester, coupled with the profound success of the English swimming squad in the Commonwealth Games, the sport of swimming has never been more popular.
 

Havering Dolphins Swimming Club operate in Havering, which is the second largest borough in Greater London, with a population of around 230,000 and an area approaching 40 square miles. This represents a extremely attractive target area in which the sport of swimming features so prominently. 


The club holds a number of swimming galas each year and regularly travels to compete in county, district and national championships.
